Since 2001, Book Organizations of Colorado (BOOC) has been connecting
Colorado's book community. Our member groups include nearly 30 nonprofit
organizations whose activities support literacy, libraries, writing,
publishing, selling or promoting books for the mutual benefit of members
and the general public. See our Book News page for a listing of local events.
The BOOC service linking authors with programs now has more than 300 authors. You can browse a listing of local authors to find the perfect
speaker for your event in the library, classroom, or book store.

Book Organizations of Colorado wants your help in spreading the word about its Find An Author project. Find An Author connects authors with organizations looking for speakers. The site provides a user-friendly list of more than 300 Colorado authors interested in presenting programs.
We recently surveyed our authors to get their feedback about how the
site is working from their perspective. Now, we want to ask people who might be interested in using the service (teachers, librarians, civic groups, etc.) how this service is working and how we might let more people know about it.

How to Connect Using BOOC Email Lists
Click on the JOIN link to send a "subscribe" email to the list
you want to join.

is a list for the book community to discuss the craft and business
of writing, getting an agent, finding a job, and other writing-related
